Lahinch Beach
Lahinch is a sandy, crescent-shaped beach, by the seaside resort town of Lahinch located just 40 minutes from the Shannon Springs Hotel. Stretching over a mile-long Lahinch is renowned as Ireland’s most popular beach for surfing. In the town there are more surfing rental shops and surfing schools as well as pubs and restaurants.
Spanish Point
Enjoy a stroll around sandy Spanish Point, popular with swimmers and sufers with several surf schools operating in the area. Spanish Point is a great starting point for walks along the coast around the headland, where there are spectacular views over the seascape.
Kilkee Beach
Kilkee is one of the most popular beaches in Clare and is an excellent spot for sunbathing and for family days out. Kilkee offers plenty of facilities such as pubs, restaurants and Kilkee Waterworld which is a great place to take children. The reefs around Kilkee are renowned as some of the best places for diving in the world.
Fanore Beach
Fanore Beach is an extensive sandy beach located near the seaside village of Fanore, located just over an hour from the Shannon Springs Hotel. With the Burren landscape as a backdrop, this coast road is simply breath-taking and well worth the drive. The beach is long sandy and safe and a very popular family destination.
